Sue asks for £5 per quarter subs, which work out at 42p per practice session
– or in the case of Paul, Gloria and John Tearle, 42p/hour.

Subs refunded if you bring a man who stays for 3 practices!

23rd St George's day, The Greyhound at Milton Malsor. Monday
1st May Day at Brackley Market Place, Croughton, Kings Sutton, Farthinghoe. Six sides see us do a cock up of Lichfield.  

Offer of help to teach by ex-squire of Lichfield turned down as we have a fine teacher, we just need an offer to help us to learn!
5th - 7th 'Teesdale Thrash' at Barnard Castle. Dancing to The Cock and Bull Band. First improvised processional to Shepherd’s Hey and Chicken Chasing.

Concerts on offer included Artisan and Kipper Family.
14th The Red Lion at Warmington. Monday
19th Stony Stratford’s Day of Dance at Stony Stratford and Cosgrove With OMR, Polyolbion and us.

At the Barley Mow at  Cosgrove, the musicians were asked to stop playing so that the diners could hear the muzak.
21st Red Lion, North End Paul Dennis’s choice. Monday
2nd Yeovil Festival Can anyone remember what happened here?
4th The Admiral Nelson at Braunston.  
11th The Green Man at Brackley Hatch. Then back to Marjory's garden for more dancing.
18th The Crown at Weston.  
23rd Byfield village Fete.  
25th The Plough at Upper Boddington. A quiet Monday night at the Plough.

2nd Staverton - The Countryman Monday – nobody there!
7th M40 Pre-opening Dance  then
Morris Dancing in the Fast Lane

Just prior to opening, invited by contractors (well - Pam's husband) to dance on M40 motorway.

We were given hard-hats & danced in the fast lane with non-standard hand signals!
Mollington School Kids did own Morris dance, taught by Jacqui.

16th The Red Lion at Cropredy.  
23th The Old Coach House at Ashby St. Ledgers.  Monday
28th Banbury Alcan Fete Saturday
30th The Stratton Arms at Turweston.  
12th Byfield Village Hall An indoor event to entertain Byfield WI, whose average age was possibly even greater than those of Royal Oak Morris.  

So no recruits there.  
9th The Royal Oak at Eydon. Sunday dance out with Hereburg Morris and Hedgebetty
26th The Griffin at Chipping Warden then Soulden Hill
